I've searched low and I've searched high with no joy. Any of you guys know where I can pick up a copy of the holy tome?

is "Yankee Doodle," and
the other isn't. - U.S. Grant

I was checking on that as well earlier in the week.  I even wrote to the contacts and they indicated that it is now out of print and can't get the go authorization to print more.  The exact message was:  "No, sorry, it has been out of print for over a year. The Columbia Rifles have refused reprinting rights.

Yep, it's hung up for now. Some sutlers may have a copy or two though.

Thanks fellas. I'll continue to keep my eye out. If I should happen to come across a supply I'll ask if any of you other boys need a copy too.

I've tried searching through Amazon, Alibris, Abebooks (1/2 price books), Borders, Barnes/Noble, Books a million, etc. with no luck.  I guess it's pretty difficult with a limited run.
About 6 or 8 months ago there was a 1st edition on ebay...wish I had gone for it now.

Yeah, I checked all of the same as you but Albis and Books A Million, plus a couple big stores that I know (Powell books in Portland Oregon and Tattered Cover in Denver). If you find two copies of the second edition version, pick one up for me and I'll reimberse you for it.

Hmm, does this mean I can offer mine up for $500.00?

Most USED copies I've seen have sold for betwen $80 and $100. Yup that's well over cover price.

Trust me, there are no new copies at any sutlers, I've talked to most of em and all of us agree that if we could get our hands on some we would.

That's too bad...I've seen the first edition and it's a wonderful work.
