A couple years back at the Ridley event here in PA, there was a guy there taking period photos.. So a couple of us had a group photo taken. Since then I have wanted to get an image made of just myself. For those who have gotten them taken, who do you recommend? Would it be just as easy to take a weekend and go out to Gettysburg and have one done there? Any suggestions for who to use? I was hoping Mr Szabo would be at McDowell, but he won't be there for that event.

Chase Not sure I understand the question. Dave, btw, I had a couple of images made while at September Storm this past year. I don't recall the photographers name, but people seemed to call him Speedy. He was from a shop in Gettysburg but that wasn't his main location. ![]() And had this one made at Ridley Creek this past year. Not sure who the guy was, but he did a good job with the ones I saw him doing. I can't believe I moved in a 3 second exposure. Although we had just come from the battle and the sun was directly in our eyes. ![]()

Dave That might have been the guy. I will try to find the pamphlet they gave me. It did a really good job and since we were the first ones in the morning, it took a while to get the settings right. So he used up a couple of plates on my ugly mug trying to get it right. Then it turns out the chemicals weren't as fresh as he thought.
