You know, bringing up the whole movie ideas. A great series which I've been reading that should be turned into an epic movie series should be the Harry Turtledove books which begins with, "The Guns of the South". A bit of an odd storyline that helps the Confederates to win the Civil War in this story, but it truly puts it into perspective for wars to come how America, wars, and the world would be different it the Confederacy had won the Civil War. It alters history. Good series, it'd be a good movie too.

That's what I said when I first found it.
It has actually turned out to be interesting. My dad's read some of the books that continue the series, like the Great War. Supposingly, since the south won the Civil War, there was no Little Bighorn...so Captain Custer even ends up, in his eighties, being the Supreme Allied Commander...which ends being no important Eisenhower. It just goes on and on, how much history would be different if the Confederacy won. Another one was, since the south won, John WIlkes Booth found no point to shoot Lincoln...since he wasn't their president anymore.

I recommend it.
