Very interesting mix of uniforms, especially on the guys in the back row. You rarely see reenactors wearing those over the knee boots being worn by the two gentlemen on the left.

Nice mix of camp chairs too. Looks like a couple of them came from somebody's kitchen.

I am sure cost is a factor and I imagine they can be quite hot.

I am more struck by the random child that is sitting in the middle of them.  Seems to really draw your eyes to the middle and seems like an odd thing to be in a photo of a large group of officers.

When I saw that cute child, my first thought was a CW parody of one of the tabloid celebrity news blithers on TV (way too much) these days, as in "all these men claim to be this child's Daddy, and wish they had DNA testing in the CW era," but I digress.

Nice iron bands on that cooperage.

The fellow with the brim hat with crossed sabers looks like he bought it from Servants.

The fellow sitting directly in the middle appears to have washed his cap one too many times.
