Grumpy,

Let's see, it was held at the Pennsylvania Monument in Gettysburg, PA. Governor Rendell was there. You sure looked good in your jacket. Maybe the rededication of the monument?

Ah, much more important than that, Bill. That event was the annual re-opening ceremony for Grumpy's family swimming pool.

Right Bill!

Charles, that was the following Saturday.

The National Color was an unissued original, on loan from the CW Museum in Harrisburg, PA.

Dave,

Whom ever was taking the pics sure got a look from the Gov's security detail...at least I assume he was part of the security detail based on the ear phone etc. Can't wait to make one of the fall events this year or maybe two.

Actually, the crankey looking gentelman, let my daughter go anywhere she wanted to take pictures. But, he never checked our muskets to see if they were loaded...

Dave,

Most people don't realize those things we carry are actual weapons and can kill you. Sad to say, a lot of reenactors don't seem to grasp that little fact eather.

My guess is it was the re-dedication of the PA monument, after recently being refurbished. I recognize Grumpy, as well as both Sgt. Larry Nottingham & Bruce Milligan (the latter two from Co. K, 1st Pa. Reserves).
