In the latest CWTI, there is the article about Burnside's bridge and why the attack was delayed between Mac's order and Burnside's putting it into action. But it looks like Mac's adj had a watch and logged the time the orders were issued. Also it looks like Burnside had a watch, and each of his brigade commanders had one, because in their AARs they mention the time. | |||
