I saw the episode and thought it was pretty good. I would really be scared to sleep there after watching it. Not for the "ghosts" but the wiring in the basement looked very unsafe to me!

Yea I saw it, it had its moments. I kinda liked the whole footsteps thing as well as the picture moving. However I was more scared by all the wiring and cables in the basement...

Dave, The next time we are together remind me to tell you my ghost stories about Fort Mifflin. Damn shame the city does not take care of the fort.

I'm going to Gettysburg for a couple days on Labor Day Weekend. I was checking Cashtown Inn's availablity online. They're booked solid for September! I know they were popular before TAPS visited, but I'm sure that show gave them a boost. So, were staying at the Farnsworth House.

Tony, The Farnsworth House has one minor "problem." Well, it's not insurmountable, you see, but....plan on spending considerable time in the bookstore perusing new and used volumes. ![]()

I guess a plus is, you can go down to the basement for your ghost tour. Yes, they have one too. They have the best selection of books in town since the Greystone changed hands.

Last time we were in Gettysburg we didn't stay at Farnsworth, but we did take their tour and did the Mourning Theater in the cellar. Their tour is one of the better ones in Town. And Yes, we visited the bookstore. I bought my copy of Buckeye Blood there. My wife will probably have to drag me out of there before I spend all my money. Too bad about the Cashtown Inn though. Our plan was to stay one noght there and one at the Farnsworth House. Gotta have my Ghost fix, with my history fix. But Farnsworth is more conveniently located.
