Sorry moderators didn't know where to put this one move it as necessary.

To any artillery unit would like to be part of the performing arts.

The Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra which is in residence at the Saratoga Performing Arts center in Saratoga Springs NY needs help with the 1812 Overture on August 16th, 2008.

Specifically they needs cannons that are willing to go BOOM at the right moment.

Any artillery unit interested should contact Dan Beams at The Old Stone Fort Museum in Schoharie, NY @ curator@schohariehistory.net for details.  You can tell them the 125th NY refered you.

Thanks

Now it would be cool to hear, see and feel this in person.  In 1970 I picked up the LP of the Phildelphia Philharmonic doing the 1812 using cannons from West Point.
