Since I hadn't seen anything posted on this event I thought I'd put it up here for those who may have an interest.

On October 10th - 12th and October 16th - 18th the town of Harper's Ferry in West Virginia will be the site of activities commemorating the 150th Anniversary of John Brown's Raid. There should be a fair amount of interpretive programs going throughout both weekends for the more history-minded amongst us. If nothing else, it's just a great place to kill some time and enjoy the wonderful scenery. Stop by if you have the opportunity.

Respectfully,

Bob Werner

I know all summer Harper's Ferry has been doing special John Brown events. Pretty special area..in respect to one of the sites that fueled the states rebellion in years to follow.
