I am conducting a Civil War Tour at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio that will be centered on the 14 known Confederate soldiers who are buried there.

The tour is scheduled for Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at 9 AM beginning at the Civil War Section of Spring Grove Cemetery. We have concluded that if the weather is nasty that we will reschedule the date, but if it's decent we plan to make it a go.

Any and all of you are invited. Not only will we visit the Confederate vet graves (most of which are all in one spot) we will also go to a couple of other interesting spots that are Civil War related. There will be a good mix of both the Blue and the Gray.

I have been on a tour of Spring Grove with Rufus Guy and it is a worth while event. Rufus is a very interesting speaker and he does a lot of research. Spring Grove is full of history and a beautiful place.
Check it out.

Thanks Sink Rat, we sure did have a good time doing the last tour.

And Dan Becker, you're more than welcome to come out. The tour is going to focus on some very interesting Civil War folks. There will be a lot to see and hear.

We will begin the tour at Spring Grove's Civil War section which is called Section 21 and is fairly simple to find. If you find a cannon, you found us. There are maps available as soon as you enter the grounds from the main entrance (4521 Spring Grove Avenue). Or you can ask one of the cemetery personnel. They would be happy to assist you. The Civil War Section is not far from the main entrance.
