I agree with the p/e/c issue getting a little out of hand. My main impression is a Pennsylvania zouave and our unit has enough members to field a decent sized company for an event (providing that we were actually engaged at said event) but are often turned down because we are a "specialty impression." I think its one part of the c/p/h side that could use some adjusting. Do I want to see the 5th NY at Spotsylvania? No, but I would love to see them at events portraying battles they fought in.

And also, who in their right mind would want to walk 15 miles in one day?

Mike, let me know when the next march is.

Charles,

Over the years, I've done a reasonable amount of marching. Twenty-five miles was about my limit and there was very little joy after about twenty miles!

I was going to say, 20 miles would be about my limit, but there's no way I could've done anywhere near what I can do now, when I was younger.
