We spoke very briefly at Tunnel Hill Sunday morning between all the down pours. I found a few of the books,  and i have found that they are very much in detail in what happen pretty much minute by minute to what happened in the first week or so of the march to the sea. So my question is do we need in the militia need to bring a sharp knife and small digging and trenching tools? "small period shovels, hatches, axe's, and picks? or will that be pushing it to far? Thanks Robert

Just simply go onto the Bummers web site and contact one of the event organizers. They will be happy to reply.

Your best bet is to go to the Bummer's site and contact Jordan Roberts. He can give you all the details. I will give you this advice, get in shape; especially if you are in the militia. I would also reccomend being as light in the pack as possible while having what you need for the event.

Did you stop by my sutler tent at Wash Out Hill?

i think i did. i went up there with josh darnell and his wife. i think ken was there too. i think.  and you sir have great coffee. lol and im not worried about the being in shape. i march drum corps all summer long for the past 6 years. with different drum corps. if you have no idea what that is, its pretty much professional marching band. we have to maintain and keep our self in shape. in my home unit i am a field musician. i am a music education major, with a percussion concentration.  to march drum corps is like training for a marathon. lol and i will do that thanks guys see you in november.

Actually I was two tents down from Marty's, you may have bumped into me there though, I was partaking of his brew quite a bit.

I'll see you at Bummers!
