I had one, but I had to get the heavy duty motor, and it weighed too much to drag through the house, and besides it didn't work well on textured carpet.  What works best is a bagless one with the ability to turn off the rotary brush.

While I never had the problem with the ShopVac, my old Hoover upright, Eureka, etc. smelled like oil refineries after about one to two weeks worth of vacuuming.  I was starting to think I was some sort of oil baroness, and then remembered I'm living in Ohio, not Texas.

I hope to find an Atlanta Arsenal style CSA plate with belt under the tree!   This would complete what I need for my CS impression leather wise.

To All

I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. May next year bring everyone great weather, flat ground, more money and the vision to enjoy. When we think of next year and how we can improve the hobby let us think of each other. Those of us who send time on the various forums need to be nicer. We don't all do the same, but we all have a common goal. I extend the hand of fellowship. Its that time of year.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Always
Doug

Flat ground, hell!

Need a few rises with unobstructed fields of fire to properly place the guns so that our unwashed brethern (and in some cases sistern) of the infantry and cavalry don't shut us down!  smile/hapface01.gif  smile/hapface01.gif
