The annual reenactment on the Colonial Plantation at the Ridley Creek State Park, Media, Pennsylvania, is scheduled for September 11-13, 2009. There will be two battle scenarios on Saturday and one scenario on Sunday. As usual, the actions will take place on the fields and around the farm buildings on the Plantation's property. Andy Siganuk, from the Mifflin Guard, is the Federal Commander. The Confederates are stuck with Bill Rodman (Yours truly) There will be a party on Saturday evening, at the Plantation House, for all participants. This is a spectator event. All proceeds go to the preservation of the Colonial Plantation.

The registration is $3.00 per person if received by August 1st, and $5.00 per person if received by September 1st. After September 1st registration will be $8.00. Children, under twelve are free. Please contact Bill Rodman at wrodman1@aol.com for a registration packet. It will be sent to you as a Word Document. If that's a problem, I'll be glad to mail you a registration packet.

Because of the farm animals on site, cavalry is not allowed and artillery is by invitation only.

Bill

I just wanted to say "Well Done"    to you and the guys from the 4th Texas and also on the Federal side who organized and pulled off the Ridley event this year.  Even the little bit of rain saturday night wasn't that bad.

You guys did a great job with the numbers there to make the scenarios fun and kept all involved.  My legs were actually more sore from this event than they were from AOA.  It might have been from those couple of skeedaddles..

We had a couple of younger guys with us and it gave us a chance to work with them and bring them along better.

Looking forward to next year.
