Boys,

Some of you may be interested in finding that dusty Richmond Depot Type 2 jacket, and enjoying a march following the path of the 1st Texas up a well known hill at Gettysburg:

We'll leave the old folks back in camp, and us young bucks will wade through the briars in 100 degree heat up that fabled rise. Yeah, it will be brutal, but we have a few odds and ends that may be of interest:

- Briars! All you can handle, and then some!
- Rocks! Worst ground Patrick Gorman ever saw!
- Ticks! You betcha!
- Chiggers! Freshly imported from the Southland!
- Skeeters! Even in a drought, there they are!
- Heat! Humidity! If Grumpy comes along, then...wait..it didn't rain at AHEC. Hmmmm.
- Go ahead and eat too many ripe cherries. They've moved the portajohns further down the trail!!!

Yes, those ARE the selling points.

Oh, and Art Stone is doing the cooking. I hear tales told about rabbits hitting the kettles this time around, but that's just our little secret.
