I was surfing e-Bay and noticed there's a common tent for sale at what would seem to be a pretty reasonable price. I used "Civil War Reenactor" as the search.

A gutta percha sack coat and forage cap wouldn't keep you dry If I'm attending an event.

That's my listing .  It's a really great tent but I've decided that I'm too large for it.  And to think I was going to get a dog tent.  I have to get used to sleeping outdoors before I do that.  I'm such a city boy!  It's big enough for one guy and his gear, and it sure did keep me dry.

I am 6'3" and the solution I used for the dog tent is to pitch lower than standard and sleep from side to side and not open end to open end.

i saw it too, we are looking for something to put the kiddos in.. for some reason they dont want to go into dog tents. perhaps when they are older

From what I've heard if you are mad enough you can make it rain inside someone's tent only. smile/hapface01.gif
