What is surprising, is that the cavalryman in this image is documented as being 27 years old!

Based on this poor guy, I'll be able to reenact for another ten years!   smile/eek.gif

In the old common soldier display at the MOC, they had a jeans cloth kepi with a thin leather brim and a leather thong for a chin strap. I doubt that particular head gear would be acceptable at very many events.

Here I go again. What would cause that strange crease on the breast of the soldier's jacket? It's only on the one side.
