Greetings,

I am considering buying a few packages from this sutler.  He has good prices on a leather package and a deluxe Union infantry uniform package.

I am wondering if anyone has headrd or bought from this sutler and can provide constructive comments on his quality, authenticity and overall product and customer service.

I am aware that there are probably REALLY good sutlers out there, but I am on a budget and his wares seem to offer the best bang for the buck.

Thank you in advance.

With Greatest Respect,

Matthew Alexander

I've been reenacting for going on 9 years.....I've never heard of these folks. While I can't give you any constructive comments regarding this vendor, I'll offer this: The web-site does not list a phone number or e-mail with which to get in touch with them.  That sends up a red flag in my thinking.  My 2 cents...run away....far and fast.

I actually purchased his leathers package, and was pleasantly surprised.  Not MB&S quality, of course, but fairly well made, epsecially for the price.  Did not come with an Eagle plate or box plate, though, and no keeper on the waistbelt.  Also, order a little large on the waistbelt.  There were a couple of delays, but they answered my emails promptly and courteously.  I would be apprehensive about the clothing packages, though.  I mean leather is always leather, but cloth material could wind up being almost anything.
