For those who want accuracy at a more competitive price, here is the first offering of a new line exclusively through me; a Richmond Depot 2 shell jacket. Unlike many of the "sutler row" items, these items will be made with correct patterns and fabrics but lack some of the hand finished details of our more expensive lines. I currently have one size 40 left in stock but more coming in the next several weeks. They feature grey jean cloth, machine finished bodies, and hand finished buttonholes (seven button front) for only $180 plus shipping. Coming soon will be a machine finished unlined Federal sack coat for only $100. These items are available in standard stock sizes (sorry no custom sizes). Of course to offer this value we will be making these in runs so to ensure your size is available it is best to order ahead of time. I've already gotten a few hits on the new items and I sincerely appreciate it. Some have asked about the sack coat and I feel I should explain that this is a future project and I am not taking orders for it at this time, only the RD 2 jackets. I will be happy to put people on a wiaiting list for the sack coat but do not know when they may become available just yet. We will be doing these in runs so there will need to be sufficient interest before we move forward. We are doing the Confederate line since we have had numerous requests for such a line.
