I know this is talked about on the other forums, but I thought I would bring it up here.  What CPH events are you looking forward to next year?

Hope to go to After the Battle. Also wanted to go to Camp Morton but that was taken off the list. Maybe some in NE.

I'm going to try to work up to the "Sixth Corps to Gettysburg" march, aka the "Dobbs Death March" -- about 115 miles in a week.

I'm also planning on Winter of '64.

Apart from those, I'm hoping to work with some civilians and do an occupation of a Virginia town scenario at some point -- something modest, with maybe 20 military and 10 civilian, but 24 hour firper.

But we'll see; I'm sure there'll  be other fun stuff in the neighborhood.

Well, I don't know if I can do it, either.  I've already picked out the title for my AAR:  "I cried like a little girl."

But it seemed like it was worth trying.  I'm pretty darned sure I won't be able to do it five years from now. Tempus fugit, d*mnit. images/icones/icon10.gif

I'm looking forward to the "Winter of 64" and the postponed "After the Battle" at the Slaughter Pen Farm. Oh yeah, and Neshaminy. smile/eek.gif

Please note, none of these events require me to drag myself up any mountains!  smile/tracker.gif

Winter 1864
After the Battle
I am planning on getting an internship this summer. Things might work well enough so I end up on the east coast, but there is an opportunity in Hawaii that probably would limit my event schedule.

I would say; Pickett's Mill for sure. This would be my third time doing this event. I will admit there were some tough moments during that event in the past, but well worth it.

Winter of 64
Glendale, April 18-20, 2008 (original ground)
Fredericksburg, "After the Battle" November 14 - 16 2008 (Never used original ground, may never be used again.)

I'll have companies at Glendale and Fredericksburg, contact me if you plan on attending and need a home.

I'll probably find a "battle of someplace local" of a LH at Gettysburg event to hang out at too.

Grump,

Where do I find information about Glendale? The RP's are interested.

The RP's will probably be doing something at your local battlefield again this year. I'll keep you informed.

Looks like a few of us are doing Pickett's mill. I just saw on the AC that registration starts tomorrow. My calves are already begging me to reconsider
