I have something that I'm hoping one of you could help me with.  I curious about the authenticity of a civilian vest made of canvas material.  I found one source that said it is for the 1860's, more working class, ya know.  Can't remember the web site though.  There are nice looking vests out there being marketed to the SASS crowd, but would a canvas vest work for CW?
