Ok so have any of you folks held either of the blockade runners tin drum canteens. Either the regular smooth sided one or the one at the bottom of the page with the convex side(s). If so what kind of quality is it? How does it compare with an original? http://www.blockaderunner.com/Catalog/catpg11a.html I know of the higher quality vendors like Village Tinsmith, Otter Creek, etc. If you know me yo uknow I strive for higher end stuff, however I kind of went well over my reenacting budget this year and have a few things to still get, cutting corners where I can. Thanks.

Oh yea I was going to seriously pimp the canteen. I planned on stripping it of the sling and stopper and carving a stopper for it and making a new sling with some material I have here based on some I have seen. --Last edited by Joey21stga on 2008-03-13 18:44:04 --
